About Me

Who am I?

I have long been fascinated by games and the process of game creation, so I started studying Computer Science with specialization Game Technology at Utrecht University in 2020. During this, I realized that I preferred the creative side of making games. Therefore, I decided to also study Game Design at HKU (while finishing my study at UU).

When designing, I focus on player interaction and user experience. I often put an emphasis on playtesting, as I think frequent playtesting is key to designing a good (or intentionally questionable) experience. I have an analytical mind that allows me to evaluate design decisions in order to get a better understanding of why certain aspects work while others don’t.

Having studied Computer Science in addition to Game Design has given me a good sense of what developing entails and what is needed to make the game functional. This also allows me to produce coded prototypes rather quickly.

Although I don’t have a ton of experience yet, I am very eager to learn and become a part of the game industry!

The Team

I feel that the work I create is made by a team made up of different sections of me, all having value in their own way.
